The Blood Donor Center at Huntington Hospital provides comprehensive whole
blood and pheresis donation services, as well as therapeutic phlebotomy
services. Learn more about our
blood donation services.
Much of the medical care we provide depends on a steady supply of voluntary
blood donations, and yet only 3 percent of the eligible donors in California
give blood. The unfortunate result is chronically low blood supplies.
This shortage affects the
Trauma Center and the hospital’s ability to help those in need.
