The family who nominated Les Parent recalled that by the end of the course
of treatment, everyone was calling him “Uncle Les.” They described
his passion, his knowledge, and his commitment to their son.
We were proud to recognize Les Parent with the annual Phil Award during
Respiratory Care Week. Patients with lung disease cherish every difficult
breath they take, and we honor the respiratory care professionals who
strive to make every breath as easy as possible.
