We provide partial hospitalization and outpatient programs to help individuals with psychiatric conditions and/or chemical dependencies who are experiencing moderate to severe symptoms transition from the hospital to home, or to avoid hospitalization or in-patient treatment. Individuals will learn how to deal with their illnesses with individual counseling and working together in group therapy.

The Della Martin Center’s Levels of Care
The Della Martin Center offers two levels of care: a five day a week Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and; a three-day week Intensive Outpatient program (IOP) to provide patients dealing with drug, alcohol or mental health challences evidence-based care in a supportive, safe and theraputic setting. Our program will get to the heart of the underlying issues of addiction and address mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar and schizophrenia. We provide individul help our clients ingegrate back into the community with enhanced understanding, skills and a plan.
The Della Martin Center Outpatient Partial Hospitalization program for Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Services specializes in treating the symptoms of addiction. Our highly trained professionals staff include:
Care is provided in an environment that respects individuals and supports their strengths and identified goals. Patients are included in their individualized treatment plan. Personal needs are assessed and reassessed by a multidisciplinary team including physician, psychiatric nurses, psychotherapist, rehabilitation therapist and chemical dependency counselors. Psychoeducation and awareness of patients’ rights are an essential part of the treatment process.
We make every effort to empower the client with knowledge to enable them to make healthy decisions regarding their treatment and recovery. Treatment is based on the premise that individuals enter our program at different levels of cognitive and affective functioning. Individuals receive skilled therapeutic services, observation and interventions geared toward returning to the community and to improve function. It is understood that Individuals with chronic mental illness and/or substance abuse issues achieve baseline functioning at a variety of levels. Efforts are made to recognize each client as an individual and to support him/her in attaining a quality lifestyle.
The program operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We provide lunch and local transportation each treatment day. Transportation for patient within a 10-mile radius of the center is available. Continental breakfast and lunch provided. Services are provided by licensed psychotherapist and substance abuse counselor. All patients participate on a voluntary basis, or with consent from Probate Code or Lanterman-Petris-Short Act (LPS) conservators in accordance with applicable law.
