Enjoy Your Golden Years in Good Health
If you’re 65 or older, make sure you have access to Huntington’s local, world-class care by enrolling in a Medicare Advantage plan from October 15 to December 7.
Medicare Advantage Plans, sometimes called “Part C” or “MA Plans,” are an “all in one” alternative to original Medicare. They are offered by private companies approved by Medicare.
If you join a Medicare Advantage Plan, you still have Medicare. These “bundled” plans include Medicare Part A (hospital insurance) and Medicare Part B (medical insurance), and usually Medicare Part D (drug coverage).
Medicare Advantage is a type of health insurance plan similar to a managed-care plan or HMO. MA plans are network-based within a specific service area, and require the oversight of a primary care doctor, which you select, to manage and coordinate your care.
MA plans offer beneficiaries a great value with many added benefits, which include:
• High-quality care at low cost
• Access to Huntington Hospital
• Built-in prescription drug coverage
• Annual out-of-pocket spending limit
• Annual physical and screenings
• Many more added benefits!
