The DAISY Award for Nursing Excellence

Nominate a nurse for excellence in clinical skills, caring and compassion.

The DAISY Award

Huntington Hospital launched the DAISY Award in 2011, and more recently celebrated five years of DAISY.

The DAISY Award was established by The DAISY Foundation in memory of J. Patrick Barnes. The Barnes family was awestruck by the clinical skills, caring and compassion of the nurses who cared for Patrick, and created this international award to say thank you to nurses everywhere.

We invite patients, family members, physicians and fellow staff to nominate a nurse for The DAISY Award by filling out the nomination form available here.
