Granted Magnet® recognition by the American nurses credentialing center Huntington Hospital was the first hospital in the San Gabriel Valley to achieve Magnet® designation, recognizing the very best in nursing care and professionalism in nursing practice. Magnet is the highest honor a U.S. hospital can receive for its nursing program, and only 6 percent of the nation’s hospitals have earned this prestigious designation.
Designated as a level-III neonatal intensive care unit by California Children’s Services.In 2016 we were designated as a Baby-Friendly® Hospital, a recognition that we provide optimal care for infant feeding and mother/baby bonding. This designation is considered the gold standard of care and demonstrates our Women’s and Children’s Services commitment to patient and family-centered care.
