Caregiver Support

Caregiver Support

Are you or someone you know caring for a loved one? If so, you are a caregiver. The process can feel lonely and isolating. You are not alone.

Nearly one out of every four households is involved in caregiving to persons age 50 or over.

Caregiving can be both physically and emotionally demanding. It’s important that you as a caregiver take care of yourself when another person depends on you.

Whether you provide care to an older family member or friend at home, for a few hours, around the clock or even at a distance, Senior Care Network can help make your job easier.

Support/Educational Groups:

  • Powerful Tools for Caregivers -This support/educational series is currently offered via ZOOM. The goal of this 6-week series is to provide caregivers with the opportunity to share their experiences with others going through the same thing. At the end of the series caregivers will have a “toolbox” that provides assistance with managing stressful situations,  effective communication techniques and ways to manage self-care.

To take advantage of this program or receive support on your caregiving journey, call Karla Palma at (626) 397-8135.  You may also register below for the upcoming Powerful Tools for Caregivers session.
